Nearly five months after mid-day first reported Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)’s plan to build 67 aspirational toilets across suburbs, the civic body has invited tenders to construct 15 in the western suburbs.
The 15 pay-and-use public toilet blocks will comprise ground and single-storey structures and will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 15.30 crore. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months, by March 2028.
