Both Covid-19 cases and test positivity rate figure rise in Mumbai

While Mumbai confirms 1,066 new cases and 22 deaths, state’s daily tally drops below 20,000 and new fatalities are at 402

Mumbai continued to record more than 1,000 Covid-19 cases for the second consecutive day. On Sunday, the city confirmed 1,066 new cases. At 4.3 per cent, the city also saw a rise in the test positivity rate (TPR) that was below 4 per cent for the past few days.
