BREAKING: Fire erupts in residential building in Kurla, senior citizen killed

According to a BMC report, residents are stranded on various floors due to smoke in the ground plus a 12-storey building

A fire broke out in a residential building in Kurla West near HDIL Residential complex on Wednesday morning, officials said.
A 70-year-old female identified as Shakuntala Ramani was rescued and shifted to Rajawadi hospital where she was declared brought dead. According to the officials, the fire broke out at 6.56 am on Wednesday morning and was extinguished by 8.42 am.
