A 49-year-old businessman from Malabar Hill has been booked for allegedly breaching the security convoy of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. The police said he had headphones on him and was talking on the phone. Despite an alarm, he allegedly did not move away from the security apparatus until his vehicle was stopped by the police.

The security breach took place around 7 pm at Malabar Hill on Monday when the CM was returning from a meeting with DGP and home department officials over the Sakinaka rape-murder. Sources said the businessman was driving a blue Mercedes car and joined the CM’s convoy.
