Tilak Nagar police file a case of murder after post-mortem results conclude that the 62-year-old died of strangulation; they had initially lodged a case of accidental death
The mystery surrounding the demise of a senior citizen has been cleared after cops received the post-mortem reports, which stated that the victim had died owing to suffocation and strangulation. On Sunday, 62-year-old Pratima Chavan was found dead in her apartment at Ashtavinayak building in Tilak Nagar. Chavan lived alone, after her husband died 10 years back owing to a heart attack, and one son had committed suicide three years ago and the other died in a train accident.
