The Mumbai boy, however, couldn't attribute his success to a single factor. "I wouldn't eat for hours before the exam and stayed on chocolates to keep my energy levels up.
Apart from that, I increased my reading lists months before the exams to help in the reading-comprehension section.
I didn't have a fixed timetable. I just had a feeling that I'd do really well," Gangal told Mid DAY. His parents, who are doctors, are naturally over the moon.
Gangal, who joined a coaching institute to prepare for CAT only four months ago, said the next big hurdle is the group discussion and personal interviews at IIM-Ahmedabad where he hopes to go. "Nothing's in the bag yet. There's still a long way. And there's so much competition," added Gangal.
