CBI raids Teesta Setalvad's house

The CBI alleges that Sabrang Communications, of which Teesta Setalvad is a director, violated the Foreign Contributions Regulation Act

The Mumbai Unit of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) searched the house of civil rights activist Teesta Setalvad yesterday. Setalvad has been fighting for the victims of the communal violence in Gujarat in 2002.
The CBI had registered an offence against Setalvad, her husband Javed Anand, and businessman Peshimam Gulam Mohammed, all directors of Sabrang Communications and Publishing Private Ltd.
