After severe rainfall across Maharashtra caused a landslide that disrupted the rail services, Central Railway, while issuing an official statement, said that they have intensified restoration work on the rain-hit Lonavala-Karjat ghat section.

As per the CR, they have deployed over 1,100 labourers, heavy machinery, and engineering teams to restore normal train operations after multiple landslides disrupted the Mumbai-Pune rail corridor earlier this week.
