Central Railway Mumbai Division earns Rs 570 crore in April, ticket-checking revenue jumps 165 per cent

Central Railway’s Mumbai Division earned Rs 570.42 crore in April 2026, registering an 8 per cent increase compared to Rs 528.17 crore collected during the same month last year, officials said on Saturday.
According to Central Railway, the growth was driven by higher earnings from coaching revenue (passenger-related services), ticket-checking drives, and non-fare revenue initiatives undertaken across the division.
