Changes in destination of trains due to track alignment work at Andheri

Due to track alignment work at Andheri, there will be changes in destination of trains, said Western Railway in a press release on Tuesday.


The press release by Western Railway reads that in connection with construction of sixth line between Khar and Goregaon, track alignment work will be undertaken from January 25 for a period of 15 Days at Andheri Platform 9. It also said that there will be "temporary changes in destination" of trains due to the alignment work at the Platform 9 of the Andheri station.


"During the block period no train will be dealt from Platform 9 at Andheri Station. Hence, the trains departing from Platform 9 will be dealt at Platform 8," read the statement from Western Railway.

Here are the details of destination changes:

Dahanu Road – Andheri local departing Dahanu Road at 06.05 hrs will be extended up to Churchgate.

Bhayandar – Andheri local departing Bhayandar at 16.45 will be extended up to Churchgate.
