Chawls along Elphinstone Bridge must be assured of in-situ redevelopment: Aaditya Thackeray

The MMRDA should complete the rest of the works of the same connector, the residents must be assured of their housing and after our festivals are done with later this year only then should they proceed with Elphinstone Bridge demolition, Aaditya Thackeray wrote on X

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray on Monday said that the chawls along Elphinstone Bridge in Mumbai must be assured of in-situ redevelopment by the MMRDA before it goes ahead with the demolition of the bridge.

The Worli MLA has also opposed the immediate demolition of the bridge.
