Civic officials to keep hawk-eye on Baobab tree in Aarey colony

Taking note of the report published in mid-day (‘Rare Baobab tree attacked in Aarey Milk Colony’, August 27) wherein it was highlighted how miscreants were targeting a rare Baobab tree, authorities from the local ward office visited the spot and took stock of the situation. They even warned the contractor, constructing a cemetery in the vicinity, of legal action if the tree was harmed in the process.
