Maharashtra to develop AI-based disaster management system, says CM Fadnavis

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed officials to develop an AI-based integrated command and control system for disaster management while reviewing Maharashtra’s pre-monsoon preparedness. Departments have been asked to strengthen SOP implementation and address gaps within 15 days

Ahead of the monsoon season, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday directed the officials to initiate steps to develop an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based integrated “Command and Control System” for disaster management.
CM Fadnavis on Friday also reviewed pre-monsoon preparedness at a high-level state review meeting held at Sahyadri Guest House.
