Cops discover secret tunnel in kitchen during bar raid

Raiding an Andheri bar on Thursday, police chance upon a secret tunnel in its kitchen which was used as a getaway route to help sex workers escape whenever cops came calling. Vijay Bate brings you their modus operandi
Hotels and inns which act as fronts for sex trade rackets seem to be raising the bar in devising crafty escape routes for their workers.

The Social Service Branch officers busted a sex trade racket, which had been flourishing in Ratna Park Bar,u00a0 Sahar Road, Andheri (East) last night, rescuing eight girls in the process.
The girls had been giving cops a run for their money in the last few raids conducted at the bar, as they had in place an ingenious getaway plan, requiring considerable acrobatic skills.
