A 36-year-old Mumbai resident, Prannoy Palav, has alleged finding a corroded metal pin embedded inside a piece of Kaju Katli purchased from a popular sweet shop in South Mumbai, claiming the object was discovered just moments before it was about to be fed to his three-year-old daughter.

The complainant, Prannoy, told Mid-Day that he had purchased 500 grams of Kaju Katli and 500 grams of Motichoor Laddoos from Tewari Bros. Mithaiwala, located in Purshottam Building opposite Opera House on Charni Road, at around 7 pm on July 29.
