Just a day after three more students were arrested in the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) paper leak case, the Amboli police on Monday allowed seven students among the arrested accused to appear for their examinations at different centres.

Later, they were produced in court along with the other six. Initially, the court had sent all the 13 to judicial custody. But after their relatives submitted their bail applications, the court granted the same.
Probe update Speaking to mid-day, an officer from Amboli police station confirmed the latest and said, "All the arrested accused have been released on bail."
mid-day had reported on Monday that the police had decided to allow the accused students to appear for their exams only if the court approved of it. Following the court's approval, the students were allowed to write their exams.
On Sunday, the court had sent the 13 accused, including three who were nabbed later, to police custody for a day. "Based on technical evidence, three more people were arrested on Sunday. A team led by encounter specialist Daya Nayak had nabbed them."
In a nutshell Investigations have revealed that the computer technician of a Kandivli-based college, Kalpesh Bagul, emailed the question paper to one Irfan Khatri one-and-a-half hours prior to the exam. Khatri then forwarded the paper to students through WhatsApp. He even took a charge of Rs 10,000 from each student. The police have also found out that Bagul emailed a total of nine papers.
