Iqbal and Reshma got married in the city in July, last year

The 23-year-old woman from Mangalore, who was kidnap­ped by four people on December 17, while she was out for shopping in Vashi, has finally been reunited with her husb­and. According to police sou­rces, her own family members kidnapped Reshma Ashok Kumar Kunil because she went against their wishes to marry Mankhurd resident Iqbal Mohammed Umar Chaudhary, 28. After it was established that Reshma's family was involved in her kidnapping, Iqbal filed a case in the high court. During a hearing in the case yesterday, the court allowed Reshma to live with Iqbal.
