COVID-19 cases rise with Maharashtra seeing over 3,000 and Mumbai 501

After two days, the state again recorded over 3,000 cases on Wednesday, while the city reported 501 cases of COVID-19. The state recorded 3,015 new cases, taking the total tally of Maharashtra to 19.97 lakh cases

After two days, the state again recorded over 3,000 cases on Wednesday, while the city reported 501 cases of COVID-19. The state recorded 3,015 new cases, taking the total tally of Maharashtra to 19.97 lakh cases.
The number of COVID-related deaths recorded in the state was 59 taking the total to 50,582 deaths in all. The Thane Municipal Corporation, Navi Mumbai and Kalyan Dombivli Corporation recorded 126, 83 and 75 cases respectively in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
