Covid-19 cases see a dip in Mumbai, test positivity rate recorded at 1.6 per cent

But the number of deaths is now a concern with 21 recorded in one day

Mumbai registered 575 COVID-19 cases on Saturday, after conducting more than 35,000 tests in a single day. While the city’s test positivity rate reduced to merely 1.6 per cent, there were 69 new deaths reported in the last three days, which has become a cause for concern. Meanwhile, the state saw 9,489 fresh cases and 153 fatalities on Saturday.
On Saturday, 851 patients were discharged after full recovery in the city and the number of active patients reduced to 8,297.
