COVID-19: Maharashtra fatalities cross 50,000, Mumbai records 657 infections

Maharashtra continues to record 3,000-plus daily cases of COVID-19, with Mumbai contributing 657 infections to the tally on Sunday. With the latest addition of 3,558 cases, the overall infections across the state since the pandemic broke out stand at 19.69 lakh.
