COVID-19: Maharashtra reports 63,294 new cases; Mumbai saw nearly 10,000 cases again

There were 58 deaths in Mumbai according to the civic body though the state health department reported 79 deaths.

On a day that another meeting about imposing a lockdown was inconclusive, Mumbai recorded 9,989 COVID-19 cases and Maharashtra recorded the highest spike since the pandemic began at  63,294 new cases. There were 58 deaths in Mumbai according to the civic body though the state health department reported 79 deaths. The state reported 349 deaths on Sunday.
