COVID-19: Maharashtra's total tally is over 20 lakh

Mumbai records more than 500 new patients for a second day, same number discharged

The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra has now crossed over two million or 20 lakh. With 2,886 new cases, the total tally was 20.008 lakh on 
Thursday. The city reported over 500 cases. The number of COVID-related deaths recorded in the state was 52 taking the total to 50,634 deaths in all. 

The city had 527 fresh cases on Thursday. The Thane Municipal Corporation, Navi Mumbai and Kalyan Dombivali Corporation recorded 90, 60 and 72 cases respectively in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
