COVID-19: Mumbai cases less than 1,000 again, but still few tests conducted

On Tuesday 849 cases were registered in Mumbai after 18,469 tests including RT-PCR and Antigen.

The city reported less than a thousand cases again on Tuesday, but this was after fewer tests were done. The number of deaths, however, was two. In the state, there were 7,863 COVID-19 cases registered along with 54 deaths. The deaths were more in the interior of the state.
On Tuesday 849 cases were registered in Mumbai after 18,469 tests including RT-PCR and Antigen. The city has reported more than a thousand cases on four occasions in the past seven days when the number of tests was increased to over 22,000. The test positivity rate, positive results after conducting 100 tests, was 4.6 per cent on Tuesday . There were 1,44,999 tests conducted between February 21 and February 28, with an average of 20,714 tests per day.
