Covid-19: Mumbai’s cases less than 300 again

However, deaths increase; in the state, both new cases and fatalities see a drop

After witnessing a significant rise in the test positivity rate (TPR) and new cases on Wednesday, Mumbai’s TPR dipped along with new cases below the 300 mark again, on Thursday. As per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) report, 262 new cases were reported in the city along with six deaths. The TPR was 0.74 per cent. Five of the deceased had comorbidities. 

While two of the deceased were in the age group between 40-60 years, the other four were above 60 years of age.
