Covid-19: Mumbai records 402 new cases and 14 deaths

After registering a TPR above 2 per cent last on June 27, the city’s TPR has remained below the mark

After witnessing the second wave’s lowest test positivity rate (TPR) at 1.26 per cent on Friday last week, Mumbai registered a significant rise for the third consecutive day on Monday as the TPR was 1.71 per cent. New cases saw a marginal dip on Monday with Covid-19 fatalities rising marginally.

As per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) report, 402 new Covid-19 cases and 14 deaths were reported across the city on Monday.
