Covid-19: Mumbai’s daily tally rises above 400

Of the six casualties confirmed on Wednesday, five patients had comorbidities and six were senior citizens. The TPR increased slightly to 1.24 per cent from 1.22 per cent on Tuesday

Mumbai has been seeing a steady rise in new Covid-19 cases after Monday, when its daily tally dropped below 300 for the first time during the second wave. On Wednesday, 404 more people in the city were confirmed to be Covid-19-positive, according to the BMC’s data. The number of fresh fatalities also rose, but remained below 10.
