Covid-19: Mumbai’s new cases rise again, but stay below 200

As per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the city saw 198 new cases and two deaths due to the viral infection. It was on April 11, 2020, when the city recorded 189 cases. The doubling rate has improved and was 1,986 days on Tuesday

After recording the second wave’s lowest daily cases on Monday, Mumbai saw a marginal rise, but the figure remained below 200 on Tuesday. The city, however, registered the second wave’s lowest test positivity rate (TPR) at 0.69 per cent and Covid-19 fatalities.
