Covid-19: Mumbai’s test positivity rate drops to 3.24 per cent

After witnessing a steady rise in daily Covid-19 numbers, Mumbai on Saturday witnessed a significant drop in both daily positive figures, as well as the test positivity rate (TPR). As per the BMC’s report, the city saw 866 new Covid-19 cases and 29 deaths. The number of recovered patients was at 1,045.
The city recorded a TPR of 3.24 per cent. The doubling rate has continued to significantly improve and is now at 511 days.
