Covid-19: New cases in Mumbai dip for second day in a row

While the city saw 794 fresh cases, the state witnessed a dip, too, at 12,557

After remaining steady at about 900 fresh Covid-19 cases daily for almost a week, the city has finally started to witness a drop in the numbers again. For the second consecutive day, Mumbai saw a dip in the new infections and deaths at 794 and 20 respectively. Also, for the first time in the second wave, the test positivity rate (TPR) dipped below 3 per cent.
