Covid-19 vaccination: NMMC takes jabs to old and fragile at care homes

On Wednesday, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) kicked off the program for old age homes and care centres, and vaccinated 109 women at Prem Daan in Airoli.

The Navi Mumbai civic body launched a special vaccination drive for the inmates and caretakers of care centres in a bid to curb the Covid-19 spread. Recently, the NMMC had started the immunisation of students seeking education abroad.
On Wednesday, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) kicked off the program for old age homes and care centres, and vaccinated 109 women at Prem Daan in Airoli. The centre is run by Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity for sick and dying destitute.
