Central Railway’s (CR’s) Mumbai Division has announced special traffic and power blocks for pre-non-interlocking (NI) and NI works at the Lonavala-BVT yard and Lonavala UP yard on the Kalyan–Lonavala section. The blocks are part of yard remodelling, extension of three R&D lines in the DOWN yard, and five R&D lines along with one additional line in the UP yard. The works are scheduled from November 26 to December 6, with train operations impacted only between November 26–29, Central Railway said in a press release.
