Outrage and sharp divisions erupted on social media following Monday morning’s fatal Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus accident near Plaza Cinema in Dadar West, which left a youth dead and six others injured.

As videos of the bus losing control and colliding with multiple vehicles circulated online, residents voiced concerns over recurring BEST-related incidents, driver training, route safety, and congestion at the junction.
