The Opposition even demanded the CM&rsquo;s resignation, accusing the government of insensitivity. Farmers suicide in the state touched a toll of 660 this year.
Facing vehement reactions, Fadnavis explained that the CM&rsquo;s Relief Fund has separate accounts for drought relief, and the funds extended to the dance troupe was not from those heads.
&ldquo;The fund extracted here is neither from drought relief nor Jalyukt Shivar,&rdquo; he said while attending a conference in the city. Meanwhile, the BJP came out in support of the chief minister.
