Six years after the death of his daughter, Disha, Satish Salian walked into the office of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) on Friday and recorded his statement.

Salian arrived at the CBI office around 2 pm along with his advocate Nilesh Ojha and stayed inside for over four hours, emerging only at 6.30 pm. The visit comes days after the Bombay High Court ordered the CBI to take over the investigation into Disha’s death and directed the agency to record Salian’s statement, register an FIR, and appoint a senior officer to lead the probe.
