Mumbai hospitals to display information on reserved beds, central health schemes

Union Minister of State Prataprao Jadhav said patients visiting BMC hospitals should be able to easily access information about health schemes run by the central government

Hospitals in Mumbai have been directed to prominently display information about beds reserved for economically weaker sections and various central government health schemes, Union Minister of State Prataprao Jadhav said on Thursday.

Jadhav, who holds independent charge of the Ayush Ministry and is also Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, gave the directions during a review meeting on public health schemes at a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) hospital on August 13.
