Mumbaikars are going beyond their call of duty to assist those in need yet again. Besidesverifying messages about oxygen support or plasma donors, as the number of cases increases, they are also offering to dish out healthy meals for Covid-19 positive patients, or helping arrange for home-cooked food through crowd-sourced resources. The elderly, the immunocompromised, and those living alone can also avail of some of these services. Here is a selection of such lists and tiffins:

Last week, city-based chef Saransh Goila put out a call for people who were volunteering to cook for Covid-19 positive patients and healthcare workers. On April 25, he launched CovidmealsforIndia.com. The platform allows those in need of simple meal deliveries to find restaurants, caterers and tiffin services, sorted by state and city. There are many options for kitchens that deliver all over Mumbai. The site also lets service providers register themselves.
