An IndiGo flight from Cochin International Airport to Hamad International Airport in Doha was diverted to Mumbai on Tuesday evening after a medical emergency on board, sources said.
Flight 6E1323, which took off from Cochin at 5:48 pm, made a landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Mumbai at 7:23 pm, they said.
The airline was yet share further details regarding the nature of the medical emergency. However, standard emergency protocols were followed, and the airport's medical team was on standby as the aircraft landed.
"The passenger was de boarded and taken to the medical unit at airport," sources said.
