He got hold of her number and began harassing her by constantly calling her and sending her text messages, even at odd hours. This had been going on for the past 15 days. After the actress filed a complaint three days ago, the Santacruz police formed a team. Cops kept a track on the phone number used by the accused and traced the phone to Matunga. However, the address on which the SIM card was registered turned out to be fake. When they obtained the Call Detail Records of the number, they found that Singh had been in touch with one particular person. Police found out he was a relative of Singh and questioned him about the driver&rsquo;s whereabouts. The relative then led the police to Singh&rsquo;s residence in Matunga, where he was arrested on Monday, &ldquo;With the help of directions given by Singh&rsquo;s relative, we reached the accused and arrested him,&rdquo; said Arun Chauhan, senior police inspector from Santacurz police station. During the interrogation, Singh revealed that during the journey to Shirdi, the actress had spoken to him for a while. He &lsquo;fell in love&rsquo; with her and started calling her and sending text messages, but never disclosed his identity, said sources. Vijan told MiD DAY, &ldquo;Inititally, I thought it was a friend playing a prank on me. But when it went on for 15 days, I filed an FIR. I can go back to living my life now, thanks to his arrest.&rdquo; Singh was booked under Section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult modesty of a woman). He was produced in court yesterday and was remanded to judicial custody for 15 days.u00a0
