If state BJP president Raosaheb Danve is to be believed, then Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse will continue to hold his office.

Danve, who was in Jalna to offer tributes to BJP leader Gopinath Munde on his second death anniversary, said on Friday that the allegations against Khadse were politically-motivated and baseless, and that the party high command had not exerted any pressure to remove the minister from the cabinet.
Danve&rsquo;s statement assumes a lot of significance for Khadse, who is fighting a series of allegations from the opposition and social activists. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis submitted a report on these allegations to the party&rsquo;s national president Amit Shah on Thursday night. Now, it is apparent that the CM&rsquo;s report does not indict Khadse in any of the allegations. Danve, too, said the report could be in Khadse&rsquo;s favour. He said the minister will face action only if the charges against him are proved in a court of law. &ldquo;We believe that there is no substance in these allegations,&rdquo; he said. Meanwhile, Khadse&rsquo;s MP daughter in-law, Raksha Khadse, met Modi in Delhi on Thursday night. The minister, too, is expected to meet Modi and Shah very soon.
