Maharashtra Food Safety Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe on Wednesday unveiled the "Three Es" framework, Empowerment, Enabling and Enforcement, to guide the functioning of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

He said the framework focuses on empowering consumers, enabling genuine businesses and strengthening enforcement to improve food safety and consumer protection across the state.
