Irritated that her two children were refusing to study, a 32-year-old woman forced poison down their throats and took some herself last night. All three have been admitted to KEM Hospital and are now in stable condition, the police said.
The mother has been identified as Sushma Chile, from Jijamata Nagar, Kalachowkie. She has told the police that she was fed up of telling her children Tanuja (14) and Anuj (9) to study. On Tuesday, Sushma had once again told the two to study, but, they ignored her. &ldquo;She then forced them to drink rat poison. She then drank some herself," said inspector Hemant Rade.
After hearing the children&rsquo;s cries for help, the neighbours rushed to their house and found the kids vomiting. They were rushed to KEM Hospital. The probe is on.
