A minor fire broke out in the cabin of a container truck near Manpada Bridge on Ghodbunder Road in Thane West during the early hours of Saturday, civic officials said.

According to the Thane Municipal Corporation’s Disaster Management Cell, information about the incident was received from Balkum Fire Station at around 5:40 am on May 9. The fire occurred near the Dosti Imperia building in the Manpada area.
