Fire in Bhiwandi building brought under control, no casualties reported

<p>Fire broke out this morning in a residential building at the powerloom town of Bhiwandi in Thane district, with many residents rushing to the terrace to escape the blaze</p>

Thane: The major that fire broke out in a residential building that has a powerloom unit on it ground floor has been brought under control. Around 80 people were stuck in the building, among whom more 50 people are been rescued. The fire officials, with the help of hydraulic staircases, are rescuing trapped victims, who are stuck on the terrace of the building.
