<p>Journalist and writer Anil Dharker passed away on Friday. Dharker, who was 74, was the former editor of Mid-day and the founder and director of the Mumbai International Literary Festival. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Apart from his vast influence on journalism in Mumbai, Dharker was the founder and chairman of the Single Malt Club of Bombay, according to an <a href="archive.indianexpress.com/news/si" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Indian Express</a> report. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>As news of his death spread on Friday, many of his friends and former colleagues tweeted their condolences.&nbsp;</p>
