With the declaration of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results, the race for securing a seat in Std XI has begun. The management of numerous city colleges are under stress as the government has asked them to complete admission under the management, minority and in-house quota before June 21.

The objective of this step is to be able to track each candidate, who will be given a unique registration number. This decision was taken after several complaints of malpractices were reported. This year, every candidate has to register in the centralised process run by the office of Deputy Director of Education (DyDE).
