Maharashtra announces state-level competition for best 2026 sarvajanik Ganeshotsav mandals, check details here

District-level committees have been formed to select the best sarvajanik (public) Ganeshotsav mandals. Committee members will visit the mandals during the festival and assess their celebrations based on various criteria

The Maharashtra Government has announced a state-level competition to honour outstanding public Ganeshotsav mandals during the 2026 festival, an official statement said on Thursday.

Sarvajanik (public) Ganeshotsav mandals from Maharashtra, other parts of India and overseas will be eligible to participate if they organise the festival through social, cultural and constructive activities.
