Maharashtra Khadi and Village Industries Board to host eco-friendly Ganeshotsav 2026 on Sept 8, check details here

The Khadi Board said the initiative is aimed at promoting sustainable products while creating wider markets for products made by rural and micro entrepreneurs

Ahead of the Ganeshotsav 2026, the Maharashtra State Khadi and Village Industries Board, in association with the Industries Department, will organise an Eco-Friendly Ganesh Idol Painting Festival 2026 in Mumbai on Tuesday, September 8, an official statement said on Monday.

The event will be held at the Trimurti Courtyard at Mantralaya from 11 am to 2 pm. The initiative aims to raise awareness about environmentally friendly ways of celebrating Ganeshotsav.
