Opposing the Bombay High Court ban on the use of Plaster of Paris (PoP) for making Ganesh idols, Shiv Sena leaders are likely to meet Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan. <br /><br />Party executive president Uddhav Thackeray convened a meeting of idol makers at Sena Bhavan on Saturday to discuss their problems in view of the ban. <br /><br />The ban was imposed by the Aurangabad bench of the Bombay HC on a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by Narendra Dabholkar in 2005. The court had ordered that the idols be made with soil and natural colours.
