Goregaon fire: PM Modi announces ex-gratia relief of Rs 2 lac for NoK of deceased, Rs 50K for injured

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and those injured in the devastating fire incident in Mumbai’s Goregaon that claimed seven live lives and left over 50 injured.

The Prime Minister declared that an ex-gratia payment of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) would be provided to the next of kin of each deceased victim. Additionally, Rs. 50,000 will be offered to those injured in the mishap to aid in their recovery process.
