GTB Nagar residents say area is unsafe, file PIL

Residents of Sardar Nagar in Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar have filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Bombay High Court, stating that due to frequent murders, thefts and drug peddling they feel unsafe in the area.
Five people Harjot Kaur, Gurcharan Vijan, Taresh Thapar, Bharat Bhishan Bhindra and Harjai have filed the PIL and 400 are supporting the suit. There are about 25 buildings in Sardar Nagar-4 and the chairman of one the buildings, Raju Oberoi, said, “There have been 25-30 thefts in one and a half year.
